These are the new R410 based range of Heat Siphon heat pumps that were launched in April 2010.

What size heat pump do I require for my pool?

For an outdoor pool in the UK that is kept covered, use the following guide:-

1. Work out the surface area of your pool in square feet

2. For pools up to 350sq ft, you will need the 2.25hp model

3. for pools up to 700sq ft you will need the 3.25hp model

4. for pools up to 1000 sq ft, you will need the 5.0 model

Warranty

All Heat Siphon products come with the following warranty:-

• Lifetime warranty on the titanium heat exchanger
• 5-Years warranty on the compressor
• 2-years warranty on all other parts
• Inside the UK the warranty is parts and labour. Units installed outside the UK have a parts-only warranty.

Performance

All Heat Siphon heat pumps have excellent performance and provide one of the highest amount of heat per £ than any other unit that we sell

However please note that Heat Siphon heat pumps require an air temperature of +15c or above to operate. They do not have a defrost mechanisim and so are suitable for summer use only.

Soft-Start Kit

The soft start kit can be added to the order for any Heat Siphon heat pump.

The kit helps to prevent a power "spike" when the heat pump starts.

It smoothly brings the unit up the normal running current.

This can be useful if you have a sensitive fuse/breaker which may otherwise trip out without the soft start kit.

The difference is due to the fact that all European units use envionmentally friendly refrigerant gas which is more efficient and improves performance of the units.

Delivery

All Heat Siphon units are delivered direct from the manufacturer in the USA. The normal delivery time is approximately 2-3 weeks from order.

We can ship these units direct from the USA to any European country. This can often work out much cheaper.
