Compressor Sound Reducing Blanket

We sell a custom made blanket/cover to go over any Copeland compressor to reduce compressor noise.

Our heat pumps are generally very quiet in operation, but if the location of the heat pump is sensitive to noise and you wish to reduce noise as much as possible, then this blanket will help to further reduce the noise of the heat pump compressor.

The new design now covers the entire compressor and heat exchanger pipes to further reduce noise.

This cover is designed to fit Heat Perfector heat pump compressors, but should fit most heat pumps.

The blanket has the following features:-

• Reduces compressor noise by approx 5% (on a logarithmic scale) - which is a significant noise reduction
• Custom made to fit
• Velcro fastenings
• Openings for pipes and cables in the right places
• Made from special sound reducing material
• Easy to fit
• Fits almost all pool heat pumps that use a Copeland compressor (most do).

Before Fitting Jacket 

Picture above shows compressor and heat exchanger before fitting the jacket.

The compressor is the black "tower" in the middle and the grey pipes around it are the heat exchanger pipes.

After Fitting Jacket

The picture above shows the jacket after being fitted. Note how the jacket covers the compressor and the heat exchanger (grey) pipes to reduce sound as much as possible.
